Spaceman (Jim), always knew how to put a smile on someone face.   Spaceman was a golfer in his mind.  Others would say a hacker.  Our yearly golf trips proved to be true to his name.  We had the best of times and will be miss by all.  Don & Suzanne   

My condolences to the Hardy family. I enjoyed playing golf at Arrowdale with Space.  I remember when he used to drive cab. I forgot the company he was with.  I also seen him at the casino a few times. He always called me Bernie. He said he did that because he has a lot of friends with that name.

My two fondest memories.

When Turk and I would go to the “Polish” to meet friends and play pool.
Space would always have the biggest smile and give me a big hug as he  reached way down.
The other one is when Space would come over to our place. On Sunday nights with two movie video rentals. He would use all my sugar to make Kool-Aid for the movie night.

My condolences too the Hardy Family and Friends  Jim and I went to school together , I have many fond memories over the  years when we have crossed paths , it will be a loss to all that new him .Jim always had a kind word and a beautiful smile and many laugh shared he treated me with total respect and I loved him for being such a gentlemen.  So Jim where ever your next part of your journey take's you know that you were loved and enjoyed . R.I.P.   It was an honor to have known you Jim   

You will be missed by many friends and family it was great to spend time with you when we had a chance until we meet again woodsy 

The passing of a one of a kind, legendary character, athlete, and friend. We drifted apart over the year`s but Jim,  aka Spaceman was never far from my thought`s and memories. Many good time`s playing poker, football, baseball, (Pigworm`s) up to Big Mac`s cottage on Trout lake, the madness of the White Farm equipment era,  keeping Noodle`s in check!  Those truly were the best of times, the 70`s, early 80`s many, many good times with Jim, Mad Dog, The Gallant`s, Cassidy`s, Hurley`s, what a cast of character`s. Never a dull moment and the fun never stopped. It was a pleasure to be your friend, Greg Day


Space you were one of a kind. Next time we meet will be in heaven for a round of golf and I will beat your ass even if I give you strokes. Those memories of you will never fade.  Enjoy your next life buddy!  They will love you as much in heaven as you were loved on earth.  



I will never forget the perch dinner we had at the Erie Beach celebrating Sir Jim's 60 the birthday 🎂, I will hold it till the day I see him again, God Bless you, you are and always will be sadly missed. 

I'm very sorry to hear Jim has passed away at such a young age.  It's been many years since we've been in touch but I have many fond and happy memories of chumming around with Jim back in elementary school; Holy Cross and St. Paul's. 
There were five of us that always got together for sports or just hanging out... riding bikes, playing tag, football, ice and ball hockey, baseball,  good old fashion fun and always outside being active.... except the odd card game were Jim usually won :)   

God Bless you Jim may you rest in peace and my condolences to the entire Hardy Family on this terrible news.
