It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of John on August 7th, 2024 – two days before his birthday. He would have celebrated 89 years – or, as he liked to say, 44, ... x 2, ... +1 !
He died peacefully with his wife of 62 years, Barbara, and his daughter, Monica, by his side.
John was a wonderful husband, a caring father, and a loyal friend. He had a great sense of humor and an infectious smile.
In life, John loved socializing and having fun with family and friends – eating good food, enjoying live music, playing cards, and solving word puzzles. He could speak 4 languages. He was also an excellent driver.
