Joseph Bialas

At St. Joseph’s Lifecare Centre on Saturday September 26th 2015 in his 92nd year. Beloved husband of 67 years to Anna Kupnicki. Loving father of Frances Sweers (Rick), Joseph (Kathy), Michael (Nancy Gambacourt) Christine Fraino (Les Jani). Dear grandfather to Tyler Sweers, Lily, Julie and Joey Bialas. Joe is survived by his brother Frank (Helen), brother-in-law Nick Kupnicki. Predeceased by his parents John and Katherine Bialas, sister Alice (1966), sister Mary (2015) and brother John (1944). Joe will be missed by many nieces, nephews and friends. Joe was a leading aircraftsman in England during the Second World War. He was a member of the Air Force Club, Dunsdon Legion and various service clubs and he was the founder of Bialas Plumbing and Heating. The family would like to thank the staff of St. Joseph’s Lifecare Centre, Dr. Elliott for their care of dad. Special thanks to Debbie, Susan and Toy for being there for dad.

The family will receive friends at the “THORPE BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL” 96 West Street on Tuesday September 29th from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm and on Wednesday September 30th from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 pm. A Celebration of his Life will be held in the chapel on Thursday October 1st 2015 at 11:00 am. Interment St. Joseph’s Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
