Peacefully, surrounded by her family at the Brantford General Hospital on September 11, 2013. Loving mother to Judy (Glenford), Brian and Greg (Irene) Mitchell. Dear Grandmother to Adam (Krista), Lindsay (Bobby), Jason (Angela), Nicholas, Tyler and Kristen (Shawn). Great-grandmother to Kayla, James, Jordan, Brooklyn and Addison. Marie is survived by her brothers Mike (Emma) Depner, John (Bernice) Depner, George Depner and Irvin (Sharon) Depner. The family will receive friends at the “Thorpe Brothers Funeral Home and Chapel” 96 West Street on Sunday September 15th from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral Service will be held at Faith Lutheran Church, 57 Brant Avenue, on Monday September 16th, 2013 at 11am. Interment Mount Hope Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to the Arthritis Society or Brantford General Hospital Palliative Care would be appreciated by the family.
