Stanley Dennis Jefferies

Stanley Dennis Jefferies passed away at age 100 on December 29, 2023. Beloved husband of Enid Jefferies (1986). Father to Elaine Michaud (Tom Starbuck), Philip Jefferies (Nancy), Richard Jefferies (Anne), and Steve and Hilary Kielty (1998).

Grandfather to Melissa Blake (Gary), Melanie Michaud, Collin Michaud (Cindy), Ron Fournier, James Kirkwood (Jennifer Garry), Adam Jefferies (Leslie), Sara Fullerton (Colin), Andrew Jefferies (Becky), Matthew Jefferies (Erica), Lindsay Clapham (Will), Lee Jefferies and Laura Jefferies.

Great-Grandfather to Zachary, Hailey, Gabriel, Hayley, Ella, Aspen, Savannah, Kelly, Brookson and Everett Jefferies, Graysen Clapham, Nick and Jacqueline Barton, Jonathan Fournier, Joshua and Jacob Kirkwood, Chantel Phelps (John), Michael Fournier (Allison), Locke Wallen, Chaeli and Chance Castle, and Dylan, Kayla, Avery, and Connor Fullerton. Great-Great Grandfather to Kayden, Oliver, and Declan Phelps, and Charley Fournier.

Stanley was a member of the British Navy in World War II and immigrated to Canada with his wife Enid, their two sons Philip and Richard and their daughter Hilary in 1964. Originally their destination was Australia, but their plans changed and they came to Canada instead. When he could, Stanley loved to play the electric organ, and loved watching hockey. Especially the Toronto Maple Leafs.

The family will receive friends and relatives at “THORPE BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME” on Friday January 5, 2024 from 1-3pm for Memorial Visitation. A Private family interment will take place at a later date. Memories and condolences may be shared at www.thorpebrothersfh.com.
