With great sorrow the family announces Bill’s sudden passing on Wednesday January 12, 2011 at the age of 81. Loving husband of Isabell. Dear father of Linda (Frank) Emptage, Bruce (Wendy), Wendy (Dave) Joyce, Bill (Stephanie) Jonas. Dear grandfather of Sara, Tim, Jeff, Angela, Chris, Candice, Amanda, Kayla, Shane and Alexandra. Great grandfather of Charlotte, Carli, Kelsea and Kyle. Brother of Pearl and Anna, predeceased by his parents George and Elizabeth, his brother George and his sister Eileen.
The family will receive friends at the “THORPE BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME AND CHAPEL” 96 West Street on Friday January 14th from 3:00 to 5:00 pm. and 7:00 to 9:00 pm. Funeral Service will be held in the chapel Saturday January 15th at 10:00 am. Interment Mount Hope Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the S.P.C.A. would be appreciated.
