Bette Lee Anderson, born March 12, 1949 in Bremerton, Washington, passed away in her birth city on November 20, 2014. She also went to High School here and graduated in 1969, and then in June 22, 1974 married Stephen Carl Anderson in Silverdale, Washington, who had also gone to school with her. Together they had a son, Paul, whom she was caregiver for and became a member of SEIU775 for Washington State 16 years ago to support him. Now her husband, Stephen, will take over those duties in her stead.
During her life, Bette loved gardening and reading, eating dungeness crab and fried oysters. Her favorite movie was the Pink Panther and she loved trips around Hood Canal and listening to country music.
She is preceded in death by: parents Ralph Eugene Grace and Rosemary Crawford; sisters Linda Grace Johnson and Cathy Rogers.
She is survived by : husband Staphen Carl Anderson; son Paul; brother Rodger Landerville; step-brother Gordon Crawford; step-sister Anita Branch; and of course her loving dog Smoky.
