Conrad Hubert Dodd

Conrad H. Dodd passed away at home on March 10, 2026 at the age of 93. He had a wonderful life and is survived by his wife of 62 years, Susan Matthews Dodd. Also his loving and cherished children, Cathryn Dodd of Port Orchard, WA; Conrad B. and Sue Dodd of Chatteroy, WA; Kimberly and Todd Kelleher of Port Orchard, WA and Valerie and Jim Dodd Seamans of Seabeck, WA. Grandchildren JJ and Jessica Simpson, Bryce and Heather Brown, Conrad C. and Joanna Dodd and Chaise and Joel Gies. Also having a special place in his heart were his 8 great-grandchildren: Tucker Simpson, Sapphire Simpson, Kellsie Simpson, Jensen Simpson and Cohl Brown, MacKenzie Dodd and Nathan Dodd, and Charlotte (Chocolate) Gies. Conrad is also survived by very special nieces and nephews, as well as brother-in-law and sister-in-law Bill and Leni Matthews.

Conrad retired from the Washington State Patrol as a Sergeant after 35 years of service. He also retired from the United States Army Reserve a Major. Conrad was active in Tahuya with the Fire Department, St. Nicholas Church and served as a Commissioner for the Maggie Lake Water District.

He was most proud of his over 30 years collecting aluminum cans, which he crushed and recycled and donated all the monies to the "Cans for Kids" program. His biggest joy was sponsoring the Kids Halloween Pumpkin Painting Party.

Conrad touched many lives and was an exceptional husband, father grandfather and friend to so many.
