

Conrado was born in Candelaria, Philippines to Gregorio and Anastasia Echon. Trained as electrician, he spent 20 years in the U.S. Navy aboard many carriers, then another 26 years working for PSNS.
As an active member of the Pacific Northwest Ilocandia Association, Conrado was often seen volunteering at their events or dancing the night away during their many festivities. He loved to go fishing, crabbing, and clamming. His other passion was cooking, which his 10 grandchildren can attest to, filling their stomachs with grandpa’s soup, champorado, pancakes, fried rice, or BBQ. Mostly, he cherished his time with this family.
Conrado is survived by his wife, Virginia, his children Cathy (José) of San Antonio, TX; Annette (Jeff) of Oak Park, CA; Lucy (Devin) of Bothell, WA; Michael (Tiffany) of Honolulu, HI; Cathy (Jock) of Houston, TX. He has 10 grandchildren, 1 great-grandson and many relatives in the Philippines. He was pre-deceased by his first wife, Iluminada and daughters Olive-Mary and Marianne.
