Allan, you left us so soon. There is now a hole in our lives that cannot be filled. I miss your quick wit, Seahawks football games we shared, your fabulous cooking, our long discussions out back, and guessing who the culprit on Perry Mason was. You were the only person I know of in Bremerton who grew ripe tomatoes from your carefully tended plants. All those great memories. We miss you and I take comfort knowing you and Casey are now together. You were a kind and generous spirit gone too soon.

Brennon,
What a beautiful tribute to your father. It is so hard losing a loved one and all the more difficult when it was someone like Uncle Allan. I truly believe he is at peace and with all his loved ones that have gone before him, what a celebration they must be having. Stay strong and live life to the fullest, he would want nothing less than that for his baby boy! Rest peacefully Uncle Allan, we love you and miss you, until we meet again.

Brother, so missing you right now. Still seems a dream that your not here with us. I remember how absolutely relieved you were to hear a new President had been elected, well, it's inauguration day and you'd be celebrating for sure!!! You were always so passionate about your beliefs and views on important issues. Always for equality, fairness and compassion. Going to miss those very passionate debates. Love you Bro, forever in my heart. It feels like a piece of me us missing.

Allan was a kind and funny guy who I loved to be around. One time he and Matt took a family trip , with us , to a reunion in KY.It was a long trip in a crowded car, and he kept saying , “Are we having fun yet?” That lightened up the journey and we all laughed every time he said it.
To endure that trip and the southern Loyd clan said a lot about how accepting he was.
Love you Allan.
