Darlene E. Twedt, age 96, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on August 28, 2020. A modest and kind soul who would do anything for family and friends. She loved her hobbies which included sewing, reading, gardening, crossword puzzles, baking and cooking.
Darlene was born June 22, 1924 in Arlington, SD to Edmund and Sena Liebsch. Referred to as "my little Dolly" by her father. Married Raymond L Twedt in 1941 then moved to Bremerton, WA in 1951. She worked at PSNS as a sheet metal worker and Woolworths for 10 years in downtown Bremerton.
Predeceased by her husband Raymond L, Twedt and six sbilings.

Daughters Darla Shannon(Michael Shannon Sr.) and Marcia Stanley(Johnathan Stanley)
Grandchildren Michael Shannon(Tina Shannon), Raymond Reynolds(Amy Reynolds), Bobbie Jo Taylor(Leroy Taylor Jr.), Tina Morrow(Doug Morrow).
Great Grandchildren Maegan Reynolds, Peyton Shannon, Kody Morrow, Haylee Reynolds.
Darlene was a member of Memorial Lutheran Church for 69 years. Her faith was an integral part of her life.
Family will miss her witty sense of humor that got better with age.
In lieu of flowers, those wishing to donate in Darlene's name may give to The Alzheimer's Foundation.
Due to the Covid restrictions, Darlene's Service at Miller-Woodlawn Funeral Home will be Private.
