Devon Michael Manuel Gipson

Devon Michael Manuel Gipson was born  to  Michael Vertefeuille and Twilla Gipson on January 11, 1995 in  Bremerton, WA. Devon was very adventurous,athlethic,intelligent,unique and kind-hearted in life. Devon loved sports. He played peewee football, basketball, wrestling , track and rugby in his adult life.

Devon graduated from Bremerton high school 2013 and attended Olympic college. Devon has worked since the legal age and was very dependable and hardworking. Before his passing, he worked as fork lift driver.

Devon loved his family and had great memories from RV traveling with great-grandparents John and Shirley McConnell. Fishing at his Papa Artis lake house and learning the unconditional love for animals from Grandma Tami. And making lifetime memories with his Papa and Gronne from Kentucky.

Devon also loved his parents, from bonding with his father Michael with the love of cars to his mother Twilla’s cooking and humor. Devon accepted his role as big brother seriously, he protected and loved to his sister Shamarrra and little brother John Artis.  Devon was very close to his friends also considered family, the common love of sports, hiking,camping, and music festivals kept them close.

Devon also had a relationship with Jasmyn StockMoe of 14 years and had a dog Gizzy, whom he loved very much.

He is preceded  in death by his great-grandparents, John and Shirley McConnell, grandfather’s Artis Lee Gipson jr. and Abraham Ferrell and 1st cousin Blaine Swab. Devon leaves behind aunts, uncles ,cousins and many friends

A celebration of Devon’s life will be held at Miller Woodlawn Funeral Home on Saturday Oct  5,2019 at 10:00 A.M. AND REPASS AT 1:00 P.M. Location VFW 190 Dora Ave Bremerton Wa,98312 THEME
