

Grace Rupright, 75 of Port Orchard, WA passed away after a brief illness at St. Anthony’s Hospital in Gig Harbor, WA on Wednesday July 12, 2023. She was surrounded by her husband of 57 years, her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
Grace was born on June 26, 1948 in Richland, WA. She was the 2nd born to James and Sarah Beck. Grace met William Rupright Jr. at Landmark Missionary Bible Baptist Church in Port Orchard, WA in February of 1965. They married June 27, 1966. Grace was an amazing wife, mother, sister and grandmother. She was known as Nana to everyone. She doted on her family and was happiest when her large family surrounded her. Grace enjoyed being a part of the wives club when William was in the Navy. Grace enjoyed working at Ridgemont Terrace, cooking, baking, crocheting, bowling, and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She often played Pinochle and Yahtzee, with her husband.
She is survived by her Husband William Rupright Jr. of Port Orchard, WA. Her four children Ronald (Rhonda) Rupright of Orting, WA; Mary (Brad) Miller of Graham, WA; Dawn (Bob) Schindeldecker of Cottage Grove, MN; and Jeffery (Caaren) Rupright of Port Orchard, WA; 24 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren and sister Mary Beck of Volga, SD.
She is preceded in death by her parents James and Sarah Beck, Brothers James Beck, Dennis Beck, and Ronald Beck. Sisters Linda Foxworthy and Marguerite “Petie” Beck and Grandson Zachary Rupright.
Family and Friends are invited to attend her Celebration of Life on Saturday, August 5th, 2023 at 11am at Miller Woodlawn Funeral Home in Bremerton, WA. A luncheon reception will follow the service in Orting, WA.
