

Isabelle “Billie” Malone passed into the presence of her Savior on May 20, 2025 in Silverdale,WA at the age of 101. She was born on July 13, 1923 at home in Arlington, MA. She was the eldest of four children born to Oscar John Nille and Helen Troup Nille. She graduated fromArlington High School in 1941.
Billie met her beloved husband, William “Clark” Malone while writing letters to servicemen deployed during WWII. They corresponded for three years, falling in love and becoming engaged through the mail. They saw each other for the first time in person when Clark arrived in Boston six days before their wedding in 1944. They were happily married for 42 years before his death in 1986. They had three children, Susan, Patrick and Lauren. They lived and raised their family in Bremerton, WA where Clark had been discharged from the Navy.
Billie worked several jobs during their marriage, the last one being secretary for First Presbyterian Church, later called Lincoln Avenue Bible Church, where she also taught Sunday School and was involved with Women’s Ministries. It was there that she first became a Mentor for MOPS International, teaching young mothers to love God, their husbands and their children in that order.
Preceding her in death were her parents, her husband Clark, daughter Susan, son Patrick, her sister and both brothers. Surviving her are her daughter Lauren (Kurt), grandsons William (Cheryl), Christopher (Amy), Thomas (Paula) and Eric (Jen), 10 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of Billie’s life will be held at Peninsula Bible Fellowship on July 19, 2025 at 1pm. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to Children of the Nations in her memory.
