

She passed away peacefully in her sleep on October 23, 2024, at St. Michael’s Medical Center in Silverdale, WA. She was a resident of Kitsap County, WA for many years. She was born on November 29, 1931, in Talmadge, Ohio, to Paul Burton Thornton & Ella Marie Thompson (Thornton-Lockhart).
She was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Alfred Raymond Bilyeu, her parents Paul & Ella Thornton (Lockhart), Step-Dad, Stan Lockhart, brother, Paul Thornton, sister, Joan Gill (Thornton), and son, Marc Haag.
She is survived in death by her sister, Linda Thornton-Seaman-Cobble, her children, Michael Haag, wife Roxy, Douglas Monroe, wife Lynette, Pamella Perron, husband Bernie and her former daughter-in-laws Konda Haag and Rose Haag.
She is also survived in death by multiple grandchildren, Michael Griffiths, wife Tiffany, Ashley Nieto (Henz), Megyn Weber-Kerney (Henz), husband Jordan Weber-Kerney, Kelsi Monroe,Cori Monroe, Mathieu Haag, wife Tiffany, Jordan Haag, Cody Haag & Keagan Haag.
She is also survived in death by multiple great-grandchildren(Meira, Kylie, Dale, Aiden, Tyke, Evelyn, Alaina, Edgar, Kimberly, Gracie, Bentley, Zachary, Addy, Olivia, Kaden, Audina, Kayli, husband Justin, Lilah & Lilly).
She was a proud Navy wife for many years. She also worked as a secretary at Montgomery Field in San Diego, CA and did many years of civil service work at Puget Sound shipyard.
She also had many dear friends through her many woman’s group, mainly Central Kitsap woman’s club, and also enjoyed eating at IHOP in Silverdale, WA.
