June W. Scott, 88 of Bremerton passed away on February 18, 2013. She was born to William and Edith Taylor on 06/26/1924 in Everett, WA and grew up and attended school in Lake Stevens, WA. During WWII, she worked for the Army Air Corps at Paine Field and Silver Lake. She married Victor Scott in 1947 and traveled with him during his Air Force assignments to New Mexico, Louisiana, Montana, Puerto Rico and Colorado. She was active in community services at the bases they were assigned to. The family moved to Bremerton in 1965 where she was active in PTA and as a tutor at local schools. She was preceded in death by her husband Victor and is survived by her two sons. At her request there will be no funeral but a private grave side service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in June’s name to the Air Force Society (https;//www.afas.org/Tribute-Donation).
