Lorraine E Woodworth, 93, passed away peacefully March 7, 2016 at her home in Bremerton, WA. Lorraine was born November 18, 1922 to Fred and Martha Thietje in Reliance, South Dakota. Lorraine was a school teacher and loved her job. She was a missionary for her church and was involved in many prayer organizations for elderly homes, shelters and prisons across Washington and Oregon. She loved chocolate ice cream and to watch the Jimmy Swaggart church program on TV. Lorraine was preceded in death by her husband, Norton Woodworth, and her son, Roger Woodworth. She is survived by her grand daughter Sherrill Woodworth, and her great grand daughter Whitney Woodworth. Lorraine will always be remembered for her kind heart and loving spirit and her healing hands; she has always taught us to be kind hearted and we will miss her dearly. Services will be held Tuesday, March 15, 2016 at Miller-Woodlawn Funeral Home in Bremerton, Washington. The viewing will be at 10:00 am, the funeral service will start at 12:00 pm, with the burial and a reception to follow.
