Lydon (Nighty) Harris was born in Tacoma, Washington on July 14, 1959 and departed this world on May 23, 2016 at Harrison Medical Center in Bremerton, Washington. His parents were Rev. Henry Harris and Lucille R. Harris. They both preceded him in death.
Lydon was educated in the Bremerton School District and graduated from West High School in 1978. He also attended Olympic College until his health began to fail and he had to leave. He was groomed to be a Cement Mason at an early age by his father and went on to make that a career in the Building Construction Industry.
Lydon was kind, loving and respectful. He loved God, his family and sports. He loved life and often said it was precious to him. He was always ready to help anyone that needed help even at his own expense. He shared whatever he had including his wisdom and opinions.
Lydon leaves to mourn his passing, son, Marcus Harris of Virginia, two grandchildren, Journey Rae and Jionni Harris of California, a daughter, Janay Harris of Florida, sister and brother-in-law, Pamela and John Farrior of Bremerton, twin brother, Lydell Harris of Bremerton and brother Henry Harris of Bremerton, and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
We will miss Lydon, his smile, his love and his strong and joyful approach to life but we know he is without pain, suffering and sorrow, and that comforts his family. We loved him but God loved him best.
