After graduating high school, she met and married her husband, Romeo. Upon residing in Bremerton, WA, they welcomed four children: Julia, Christian, Ryan and Jonathan - they were the light of her life. In 2014, Marichu was diagnosed with stage three breast cancer, where she underwent chemotherapy and radiation treatment.
Over the years, she had many medical appointments, taken numerous medications, and undergone several treatments. As a result, the aggressive cancer metastasized throughout her body.
Marichu battled cancer for eight years; While the cancer may have conquered her body, her mind, and spirit still lives with us and continues to stay strong.
Marichu was a giving, caring, and selfless soul, who was a hard-worker, and a resilient figure in the face of adversity. She touched the lives of so many people in such a short amount of time; she was able to accomplish much before her untimely passing. Marichu represented the good that we need every day in our lives. She was one of a select few who could rise to meet challenges with a smile.
She will forever be in our hearts and missed very much every day.
May She Rest In Peace.
