

Mario Ancheta Romias of Poulsbo, passed away November 7th, 2021 at the age of 71. He was born on July 19th, 1950 in Pangasinan, Philippines where he grew up with his grandmother along with his brother Marlito Romias and his cousin Luz Laguisma.
He graduated high school in Alaminos, Pangasinan. Although he did not continue his education through conventional schooling, he created a career for himself by joining the United States Navy.
He enlisted into the US Navy in 1979 at San Francisco. He was able to see the world during this time and through hard work had made his way to E6. He finished his military career as an LS1, logistics specialist petty officer first class and retired.
Not long after he joined the Military Sealift Command where he would work for 19 years. His work ethic carried him all the way to Junior Supply Officer in the MSC.
He is preceded in death by Juanita Ancheta (mother) and Santiago Romias (father).
He is survived by Marilyn Romias, Janlyann Romias, and Crizel (Romias) Wakano
If he was not watching his favorite sci-fi movies like Star Wars, walking around the neighborhood to better health, or winning at the casino, he was traveling the world and seeing all his family and friends. Nothing in the world could come close to how important the people in his life were and he always made sure they knew.
The family would like to thank the entire medical staff of St. Michael's for the care and compassion they showed our loved one in their final days.
