Steven was born June 5, 1948 in St. Paul Minnesota to father William Peterson Sr. and mother Olive Peterson. He earned a Bachelor of Science from Mankato State College and following his service in the 47th Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron of the United States Air Force, worked in numerous professions including: State of Minnesota Department of Revenue, Gambling Enforcement and Ombudsman of Corrections.
In his free time, Steven pursued his love of the stage and screen as an actor and director of several Plays, TV commercials, TV shows and Movies in Minnesota. He also officiated over several weddings in Minnesota and Washington State.
Steven is survived by his spouse, Carol Peterson; his daughter Patricia Graham (David Graham); and his son Kurt Peterson (Marianne Peterson); his granddaughter Taylor, his granddaughter Morgan, his grandson Miles, his granddaughter Lila and his granddaughter Charlotte.
Steven was preceded in death by his father Willard Peterson Sr.; his mother Olive Peterson; and his sister Constance Meyers (William).
