Adrian Nicole Jordan (Nikki) was born to Anita Jordan and Nathaniel Riley on December 15, 1981. She was raised in Trinidad Northeast, Washington, DC and attended Wheatley Elementary and Browne Junior High School.
Adrian enjoyed life and brought laughter to so many, especially during family gatherings. She would give you the shirt off her back, if you simply asked. Adrian previously worked for Giant Food and served as a contractor for the Department of Public Works. Adrian recently traveled to South Carolina to witness her youngest son, Marion, graduate from High School; needless to say, she was extremely happy and proud of her son. She and her son Xavier were two peas in a pod and spent many days and long nights sharing stories about life; he could keep her in check. She enjoyed visiting and spending time with her Grandma Annie (she called her Ruby) and while there she would always steam shrimp with her special sauce. She learned from her Grandma how to make homemade pound cakes. Adrian loved her sons, grandbabies and family.
In her spare time, Adrian would coordinate family events and make sure we all sang a song or two. She made certain her family laughed by making jokes, reminiscing on the memories of her granddad and brother but with a twist; she was truly a comedian.
She leaves to cherish her memories: Mother: Anita Paire (Thomas); Sons: Xavier Jordan (Sharnice) and Marion Jordan; Grandchildren: Samaya Jordan, Olayla Jordan, Tamora Jordan, Khyzier Jordan, and Lola Jordan; Grandmother: Annie Tate (Charles); Grandfather: Kenneth Jordan (Mary); Brother: Otto Riley; Nephew: Shaetron Riley; Niece: D’Aqualynn Riley and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Adrian was preceded in death by her brother: Ronald Jackson (Ronnie); Father: Nathaniel Riley; Grandfather: William Louis McKinley Chase, Sr.; and Uncle: William Louis McKinley Chase, Jr. (June), all of whom she loved and missed deeply.
