Beatrice Gail Boone

Mrs. Beatrice “Gigi” Boone, 78, passed away on January 14, 2019. She was born on September 21, 1940 in Wise County, VA, a daughter of the late Jake and Ruth Page. Beatrice was a loving and dedicated wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother and great grandmother. She lived her life with a strong faith in God.

Beatrice is predeceased by her husband of 35 years, James Franklin Boone and 5 siblings, Wilma, Curtis, Trudy, Shelby and Harold. She is predeceased by her sons James Boone (Kimberly), Theordore Boone, Anthony Boone and daughter Sherry Gimbel. She leaves behind a daughter, Patricia Lardner and son-in-law Thomas Lardner and “son” in-law Mark Gimbel; 12 grandchildren, Wendy, Robby, Jessica (Jaimin), Michael, Brandon (Gabby), Ally, Josh, Samantha (David), Amanda (Matthew), Thomas, Brandon (Kristen) and Kristian and 8 great grandchildren, Emma, Grace, Nevaeh, Clayton, Jane, Raylan, Kimberlyn and Jack, many nieces and nephews, sister-in-law Delores Boone and many others that considered her their mom. She will be missed dearly by many.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, February 1, 2019 at 11am at the St. James Catholic Church on Road Island Avenue, Mt. Rainier, MD followed by a reception at the church.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. James Catholic Church in lieu of flowers.
