

She was born in Belton, South Carolina. She was the sixth child of ten children of Augustus Thompson and Ethel Mae Green Thompson. Ms. Ezell graduated from Sterling Senior High School in Greenville, South Carolina. Shortly after she moved to Washington, D.C. and attended Nursing School and became a Registered Nurse (R.N.). For 25 years she worked as a nurse on Andrews Air Force Base caring for our Men and Women in uniform.
Ms. Ezell was a dedicated member of Contee AME Zion Church for over 60 years. She was very active in many of the Church ministries, including singing soprano in the Church choir. Ms. Ezell joins the love of her life, William V Ezell, in heaven. They were married for than 50 years. She also leaves many friends and loved ones that will cherish her memory forever.

A celebration of life will occur Wednesday, May 3, 2023 at 11:00 AM, 903 Division Avenue, NE, Washington, District of Columbia 20019. An internment will occur Wednesday, May 3, 2023 at 1:30 PM at Fort Lincoln Cemetery, 3401 Bladensburg Rd, Brentwood, MD 20722.
