Jimmy was one of a kind; an amazing person who led a remarkable life.  He was an active youngster who grew into an energetic man, coming, going, flying, swimming, running up and down and all around.  But he never forgot where he came from.  His love for family, education, history and adventure will never die.  I feel so blessed that Jimmy was a part of our family.  He will be sorely missed.  Sending so much love to Lisa, David, and John during this difficult time.

You were there to support me in every important event in my life .  In attendance at My wedding , there to support me during the loss  of My Family members . We were neighbors for a few years in Odenton. James was the nicest guy - TRUE GENTLEMAN. We played lots pool and ping ping at the house. Good laughs. Lots of great times in the old neighborhood. My condolences go out to all for this loss and especially to his lovely wife Lisa.

Brother banks was one the kindest soul I've had the pleasure to work alongside.  His positive energy was contagious. His love of God, family and career was unquestionable.  I would like to offer my heart felt condolences to the Banks family For your loss. May your hearts be at peace knowing that his memory is blessing.

My condolences.  Mr. Banks was a wonderful colleague with a bright and sunny disposition.  Whenever he passed me in the hallway, he would call me "Superdad."  We would often talk about our beloved sports team and I would frequently ask why he wore a Cubs jersey, despite not being from Chicago.  He definitely left a lasting impression.

My deepest condolences to the family.  My  name is Stanley Mullins and I  was  James track coach at HD WOODSON HS  . Jame was a very special and talented  part of our  track and field  team . He will  surely missed  , are praying for  his family .

What a beacon of light Jimmy was to all who knew him. The Lord said it's time to let go and come to me. Jimmy, full of life, fun, family, friends, his students, speaking Spanish, speaking truth boldly but gently. Jimmy and the barbecues, master of the grill, the many pics that were always being taken, the joy and laughter. Football season; Cous, we will miss your colorful play by play commentary. Jimmy, always thinking of others and remembering birthdays. He so fondly remembered Aunt Alice's birthday. He and Lisa would come by with flowers and would drop in on Aunt Alice, just because.  What a strong family bond streak ingrained in him! Cous, your smile, the countless pics of places, people and things, and the beautiful memories you left with us will forever be remembered. Thank you for your unselfish love. Gentle Giant, you are now free.
