Kenneth AlPatrick Anderson

At an early age his parents would relocate back to Lincolnton, NC where Ken would attend school, graduating from Lincoln High School where he participated on the wrestling team.

After graduating high school, Ken moved back to Washington, DC to live with family and find employment. Ken's first job was working at Alperstein’s Furniture Store. Ken worked at Alperstein’s for several years before seeking employment at the Government Printing office. He stayed at the Printing Office until he retired. Ken loved to cook and play games on his phone. He will be remembered by his bright smile and the love he had for family.

Those left to cherish fond and loving memories are three brothers, Roy of Hyattsville MD, Danny (Joyce) of Lanham, MD, and Thomas (Lynn} of Columbia, MD; one sister, Marlena Phelps of Waldorf, MD; cousins, nieces, nephews, his four Boys (Christy's Son’s), and Dear Friends.

Ken was predeceased in death by his parents, John and Mary Anderson; his brothers, Johnson

and Frank; his sister Ruby Ali and his wife, Christy Anderson.

A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held at Fort Lincoln Funeral Home, 3401 Bladensburg Rd, Brentwood, Maryland 20722, on March 29, 2026, at 2:00pm
