Kevin Russell Keister

On Thursday, July 23, 2020, beloved husband of Beth Ann Keister, loving father of Megan Ann and Breanne Elizabeth, cherished son of the late James Keister and Anne Fellows and stepfather James Fellows, loving brother of Justin and James Keister (Gerene), and Debbie Rabbitt (Billy), unexpectedly passed away at 53 years of age. He is survived by a multitude of extended family and friends, including sister-in-law, Susan (Casey), brother-in-law, Dan (Tracy), nieces and nephews Lexi, Jesse, Kallee, Jay, Timmy, and Kai, and dear friends, the late JD and Mike Dunn and Billy and Nicky Hall. He leaves behind a job he truly enjoyed as a Warehouse Supervisor for Peraton.

Kevin was one of a kind. He had a zest for life. He was warm, patient, generous, and had a special place in his heart for children and enjoyed working with them through his church. He was always ready with a sarcastic joke, a big hug, and a helping hand. This was his superpower. Kevin would lend a hand whether you knew him or not, even if you didn’t ask. He had an uncanny knack for knowing you needed him. He enjoyed wrestling, alternative music, and of course his beloved Jeep. He was proud to have the opportunity to ride on a Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade float every year, and we all loved seeing him on TV. Everyone looked forward to the absolutely stunning light display he put on the family home at Christmas.

He always put a smile on our faces.

Most of all, Kevin dearly loved his family. More than most if that’s even possible. They were his life and his passion. This is an incredibly devastating loss to everyone who knew and loved him. Heaven has gained another angel. Fly high Kevin.
