

Lamuel Julle Lambert, known as Julle son of the late Maude A. Tonge and Alexander Lambert, was born July 7, 1959, in Tortola British Virgin Island. He was baptized in the Anglican Church at an early age. Eventually the family migrated to St. Thomas U.S. Virgin Island, where he completed his formal education and became a Naturalized U.S Citizen.
After graduation, he was employed by Vitran company in St. Thomas. Later in his career, he moved to Maryland near family where he gained employment through WAMATA/METRO as a Transit Operator until he retired on June 1, 2023. During his employment he received numerous safety operating awards and driving certificates. Julle also worked for the Prince Georges Public school system on his days off.
Julle was a hard worker and self-taught mechanic. There was no vehicle he could not tackle and repair. His greatest joy was rebuilding his 1967 and 1970 Volkswagen Bettles. He was an adventurous person, loved traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
After a brief illness, he was called home to rest with his Heavenly Father on August 01, 2023. Julle’s love was unconditional. He was a loving and attentive father. He will surely be missed by all who knew him.
Julle is survived by his daughter Rashida Lambert, son Julle Lambert Jr, and Kahseem
