Lillian Elizabeth Zimmerman went home to be with God on February 23, 2021. She was born on March 6, 1935 in Greenville, Alabama to the late Henry Williams and the late Irene Moore. She was the only child of this union. Lillian will be remembered for her joy in serving, forgiving and loving others. During her life’s journey, she fell in love with Mr. Jesse Zimmerman and they made a marriage that was beautiful to all who witnessed their union. Lillian loved God, her family and her church. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Highland Park for more than 40 years. She participated in the Choir, and was former President of the March Birthday Ministry. Surviving are her children, Michael F. Coleman, Sheree A Young, Richard M. Coleman (Yasmin), Darryl W. Coleman, Victoria and Robert Manuel, Jesse Zimmerman, Jr.(Lorraine), James E. Ross (Renne), Virginia Horne (Leonard), Veronica Bennett (deceased), Beverly Thomas (Reginald), Brenda McIntyre (deceased), Rashad Ali (Lorelei); 5 Grandchildren, Demetrice Green, Marcus Young (Renee), Maurice Young (Rashida), Paul Coleman, Lauren Coleman; 3 Great Grandchildren, Khloe, DeMarcus, and Ryan; other good neighbors, and friends.
