Michael Carpenter, born in April 1962, passed away on July 26th at the age of 63. He is preceded in death by his parents, sister, brother, and brother-in-law. He is survived by siblings Bruce, Gary, and Vicki, nephews, Larry, Daniel, Jason, and Allen-Golder, niece, Sasha, sisters-in law Patty and Sonya, and other relatives.
Michael, educated in Prince George’s County Public Schools, helped with his family's moving businesses and volunteered for community services such as M-NCPPC and Beacon Heights Civic Association.
Known for his sociable nature, he enjoyed biking, visiting friends and neighbors, and collecting items. Fondly called "Radio Mike," he was recognized for biking or walking through the neighborhood carrying a boom box radio and had a passion for classic TV shows and electronics. He will be missed and remembered fondly by all who knew him.
