Norman, 
Today Brandon called to let me know that you passed away, we both cried so hard. Brandon said Aunt Sissy dad is in a better place and he is no longer in pain and suffering and he is right. Norman I will miss the good times we all had together, holidays, family and friends and having a great brother, your love, loyalty, friendship and for more importantly hooking me up with Russell. I am going to miss your phone calls. Norman I miss you, Bobby and all our family that's with you now.  We love you always my brother. Norman are you up there bumping clouds 😊

Dad it's so hard that you are gone it hurts so bad you have been my Dad since I was 12 now I'm 58 you were thier when my first son was born thought me right from wrong I'm the women that I'm today because of you! It don't seem real! I'm gonna miss u every day I know God's got you now! Until we meet agin  Dad I love you & gonna miss you ! Fly high Dad missing you every day!

Dad, I write this with a heavy heart, but none the less. You were an icon in my life for many reasons. The lessons you taught all of us still are prevalent in our lives today!! I will miss our two-three hour conversations over the phone we used to have, among many other things ;-) It's unfortunate that we lost a great Philosopher, teacher, kind, loving, and good man!! I could elaborate so many other things about you, but this post would be a book, lol. I'll miss you and cherish  all my days I had with you. You were/are the epitome of being a dad! ❤️ Love you!!

Wow I'm so lost for words right now Norman aka Dad you have been in my life since I was 12 years old showed me rt from wrong was thier when my son was born he even has your middle name my heart hurts & breaks 💔 Dad you will always be my Dad I'm gonna miss you so much and our talks heaven got another angel I know you will never hurt agin your brother Bobby & momma is waiting for you! Gosh where do I start? Thanks for all the memories and life lessons you have taught me. If I could write them all down, you would be reading this post for weeks and weeks. Your wisdom and love have made me the man that I am today.  I will always cherish our time together and will always be ever so grateful for guidance and love. There are many pearls of wisdom that I live by today thanks to you and here are just a few:

-Family first
-having of a good jab 
-the value of work 
-helping other people always
-not caring what others think of you and marching to the beat of your own drum
-Be a good person 
- The glass is always half full
- Never give up or quit and keep fighting no matter what 

I will miss you and you always be in my heart!

Sending prayers to all of his family. Norman knew me since I was a baby. He was just like a big brother to me.  His wife Joyce knew me for a long time also. We all was like real family. It hurt me so bad when I found out about his death. I am here for all his family. Norman will be missed very much. He was always there for me any time. I love and miss you Norman. We may not talked all the time to each other because we both had busy life’s but we did talk.  Joyce if you need to talk to me call me. Love always Donna Griggs Marshall
