Patrick Ryan, age 81, peacefully passed away November 5, 2020. Born in Washington, DC to Patrick and Bridget Ryan on July 23, 1939. He was the youngest sibling of John Ryan, Margaret (Peggy) Golinski, Mary Geremia, Terrence Ryan, and Anne Ryan. He enlisted in the Navy at the age of 18. While serving in the Navy he met and married Mary Ryan, the love of his life, in 1960. After being discharged he worked for Giant food for a number of years, then went on to work for Amtrak, from where he retired in 2001. Patrick enjoyed playing many sports; baseball, football, and golf. He was funny and very caring.
Patrick was the father of and is survived by Douglas Ryan, Patrick (Kim) Ryan, Julie (David) Patton, Jason, (Kimberlie) Ryan, Joel Ryan, and Matthew Ryan. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
