Perry Alphonzo Thomas

Perry A. Thomas Jr. was born on September 28, 1979 to his loving parents Perry R. Thomas Sr. and Kathy C. Thomas. Perry was born in Providence Hospital in Washington D.C. His parents being native Washingtonians decided to move into a quiet home in Riverdale MD at a very young age and he would live there until his adulthood. Affectionately known as PJ by his close family and friends he graduated from Parkdale High School in 1997. During his school years PJ also met and would eventually marry the love of his life Moneika. From that bond created two amazing daughters starting with Giavonni and then Aziah. PJ was a very hardworker and great provider. He was a person who always was high on life, he was hilarious to be around and could keep you laughing for hours, had a great sense of fashion especially with shoes in which he collected and had a strong passion for cars. Later on in life he volunteered at his daughters schools with there basketball programs and in his free time joined Crown Vic Boys and Girls Car Club (CVB/G) in 2013 where he could really express his passion for cars. He affectionately was given the nickname P-Murda by the car club. He was a very loving and down to earth person with an aura that would instantly light up a room. During the latter part of his life he endured a lengthy illness that would impact him but never stop him. His faith and love in God was always apparent in his times of need and struggle. Perry has taught us all to love, laugh and let it go. On September 30, 2019 God decided to call him home so that he may have eternal rest. He is survived by his wonderful wife Moneika Thomas, his two beautiful daughters Giavonni and Aziah Thomas, his father Perry R. Thomas Sr. (Desiree Richards), mother Kathy Thomas, his sister Kiana Thomas, brothers Pryce, Owen and Quintin Thomas, mother-in-law Hannah McClorin, sister-in-law Sumintra Sinnan, brother-in-law Garrie Thomas and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends along with his CVB/G Car Club family.
