

He attended DC public schools and graduated from Coolidge High School. He furthered his education by attending Howard University and Montgomery College. Prentice had a passion for martial arts, in which he competed in several tournaments and achieved many awards. For many years, Prentice served as a camp counselor to countless of kids at Camp Thoreau in Vermont. He continued his love for the arts by teaching them different sports such as fencing, martial arts, basketball and a host of other activities.
Prentice spent most of his career providing courier services to multiple law firms in the downtown DC area.
Prentice was known for his unique sense of fashion always setting the trend never following it; we can say he marched to the beat of his own drum. Prentice had a great knowledge of geography and world history. He was an avid reader and continually expanded his knowledge.
Prentice loved to cook. At any family gathering you would almost always find him on the grill. He also had a passion for dancing and loved listening to music from country to house music; he loved it all.
Prentice is survived by his former spouse and forever friend, Cynthia Treadwell; children, Candus Sansbury, Kyiem Prentice Treadwell; granddaughter, A’niiyah Sansbury who was the apple of his eye; brother, Ronald Rogers; sister- In- law, Francis Rogers and a host of extended family and friends.
