Robert Taylor Murphy Jr.

Robert Taylor Murphy, Jr. was born in Washington, D.C. on May 29, 1962 to Robert Taylor Murphy Sr. and the late Consuella Jennette Murphy. He was the middle child of five children. At an early age he joined the Christian Reformed Church in Washington, D.C. He attended Sunday school and vacation bible school at the Christian Reformed Church.

Robert was educated in the DC Public School System and graduated from Calvin Coolidge High School in June 1980. During his time at Coolidge, he played on the football team and the basketball team.

Robbie had a brief stint at the University of the District of Columbia wherein, he played tight end on the football team. He worked for the Federal Government for a couple years. He also worked at District Photo for a while.

Robert loved his parents, siblings, son, and cousins. He touched the lives of many people. His family, friends, and relatives were dear to his heart.

On March 15, 2022 Robert departed this life and entered into rest. Robert leaves to cherish his memory 1 son: Robert Antonio Murphy; his father: Robert Taylor Murphy, Sr.; 2 sisters: Sharon T. Murphy, Yolanda Ann Murphy; 1 brother: Reginald Terrence Murphy; 1 niece: Vanessa Murphy; 2 nephews: Brian Murphy; Darryl Robinson, and a host of cousins, relatives, and friends.
