Rosa Elizabeth Moore was born in Charlotte, North Carolina to Mrs. Rebecca Rosa Lee Moore and Rev. John Aaron Henry Moore, Sr. She attended and graduated from Biddlevile Elementary School, West Charlotte High School and Carver College. Upon completing school, she and her son, Theandre Moore moved to Washington D.C. Where she lived until her death. Rosa worked for the Department of Defense until she retired. Rosa then answered the call to ministry and served faithfully until her health began to fail her.
Rosa was proceeded in death by both parents, three older sisters, two younger brothers and her son. She leaves to cherish her memories two brothers, Reverend La Grant Moore, Sr. and Reverend Thomas Ruben Moore both of Charlotte, N.C. And a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
