After graduating from Oxon Hill High School in 1991, he attended South Carolina State University, and was a proud Bulldog. In his early years, Taf joined the United States Marine Corps, where he excelled in many areas including rifle shooting, which carried over into civilian life. After his military career, Taf entered the U.S. Government workforce, where he served as an Information Technology Specialist at The Comptroller of the Currency until God called him home.
Taf enjoyed many hobbies including camping, golfing, visiting the shooting range, and most of all, Taf was an avid Dave Matthews’ Band fan.
Survivors include his parents, Thomas and Ann Allen, one daughter, Taylor Allen, one sister, Kimya Allen Lewis (Terrence), and a host family and friends who will miss him dearly.
