

Telethia was employed at Hard Rock Café in downtown Washington, DC, Johnny Rockets at FedEx Field, Beauty 4 U in Oxon Hill, Maryland, with her last job at the Bright Horizon Day Care Center, which she loved. She really loved being with the children; they always brighten up her day. Telethia was a very spiritual woman and loved the Lord. She attended Master Touch Praise Ministries and East Baptist Church, which she was a member of both ministries.
Telethia was preceded in death by her mother Sheila Jenkins, son Tyler, and sister, Robyn Whitaker. She leaves to cherish her memory her loving father Clarence Morton (Teresa); Sisters Kayde Morton and Najla Bishop of Atlanta and Chanel, Adrienne, Teara and Kelis Barnes; brothers Deon Jenkins (Marion), Clarence Jenkins, Andre Jenkins, Markeith Barnes, and Corie Smith of Durham, NC; aunts Marcia (Ronald) of Durham, NC, Johnnie Philson, Paulette Williams, Sidonia Broadus, Sheila Boyd, Debra Richardson, Valarie Barnes, and Gaila Queen; uncles Zackery Jones and Dwayne Wilcher; and a host of other relatives and friends.
