

We come together on this day to celebrate the life of Troy Allen Crawford, who entered eternal rest on Wednesday, May 20, 2026. Our hearts are heavy with grief, but we will forever be grateful of our fond memories of him.
Troy, better known to some as Pie, was born April 7, 1968 in Washington, D.C. He was the youngest son of Charles and Maureen Crawford, Sr.
Troy graduated from Northwestern Senior High School in Hyattsville, Maryland, Class of 1986 where he played on the Basketball team. He went on to play Basketball one year at Montgomery College. Afterwards, Troy went to work for the City of Hyattsville Parks & Recreation. He then went to trade school where he subsequently became an Extermination Technician.
Troy loved spending time with his mom, brothers and friends, whether watching sports, or partaking in a good meal, especially one of his favorite dishes from his mor and brother. Troy enjoyed his favorite pastime of watching the Washington Commanders and Maryland Terrapins. Over the years, he also adored and treasured spending time with his cats.
Troy was preceded in death by his father Charles Crawford, Sr. and brother Charles Crawford, Jr.
Troy leaves to cherish his loving mother, Maureen Crawford, two brothers Rodney Carson (Sandra) and Anthony Crawford (Dara). Troy is survived by his best friend, Marc Queen, who was his buddy since elementary school. He also leaves to mourn his special friend of over 20 years, Sharon Smith. Troy leaves to cherish in his memory his aunts Shirley Walker, Deborah Crawford, two uncles, Gregory Crawford (Lisa) and Richard Crawford (Robin), along with his niece, Daja Leonard and nephew, Anthony Crawford, Jr, Keenan Crawford, Juwaun Crawford, great nieces, and a great nephew, cousins and friends.
