Mr. King, as I always called you, you were the most caring, loving, funny, inspiring, out going, energetic man I know. I so remember meeting you almost 30 years ago. What a wonderful family I met, and welcomed me as a member. I am very sorry you had to go, but I know down deep inside, it was best to keep you from all that pain you were in. You will be missed and loved each and every day ❤❤ may you rest easy with the good Lord above, and watch over everyone here. And I know you will love ya Mr. King❤

Daddy,

       I will always remember all the wonderful memories we had, and all the fun times we shared. From being a little girl and sharing soft pretzels and cherry cokes at the mall, to being a grown woman and watching you hold each and every one of your grandchildren. You will always be in my thoughts, and forever in my heart. There will never be another like you, God truly broke the mold when he made you cuz you are a one of a kind. I can't tell you how much I appreciate all the advice and help you have given me through the years. Not money, but the words you would share with me to try and make everything better. That means more to me then you will ever know. You were always my rock when I needed to be strong, and my shoulder to cry on when I couldn't stay strong any longer. You are by far, the greatest father any child could ask for, and definitely the best father any little girl would ever need. I love and miss you beyond any words I could ever speak, and beyond any feelings I could ever show. You truly were my hero for the battle you fought with cancer, and though you may have lost in the end, you were a soldier til the end and I salute you with the highest of honors. Rest easy Daddy. We will always remember your huge heart and great big beautiful smile. I love you always and forever, beyond the end of time.

My Walter, will be remembered as:  strong, but kind; impatient, but considerate; cautious, but mindful; always rushing, but accommodating; concerned, but attentive; and loving, but respectful.  His family always came first. I only knew him in his retirement years, but I know he had a strong life-long work ethic and he served his country with honor.  My Walter will be missed.  May he rest in peace with all my love and admiration.

Daddy I can't express enough in words how much I love and miss you!! I miss you so much it hurts so bad I feel like I can't breathe sometimes. I will ALWAYS keep you in my heart! You always had my back when it felt like the world was against me!  I don't know what I'm gonna do without you daddy! I feel so lost and alone right now! I'm trying so hard to be strong for you, but it's SO hard! I'm sorry daddy , but I'm still feeling selfish and want you hear with me, physically!! I think of all the good times and laughs we had, and it just makes me miss you more! You were my best friend and without you I don't know who to turn to right now! I do find comfort in knowing your no longer suffering or in pain. I am also grateful that I was your caregiver as it gave us so much time to spend together and make more memories and all the jokes we played on each other. I will always cherish those moments with you forever. You held your sense of humor right till the end. You also fought hard right to the end just like a soldier. I will forever miss you daddy! Pop-Pop,
   You are truly missed, beyond belief. Receiving that phone call hurt my heart so bad knowing the good Lord brought you home to be with him. Through the hurt and pain I felt from your passing, at some point, I felt at ease knowing your pain and suffering had ceased. Not a day will go by where I won't think of you. I lost my bestfriend !! We've always had such a close bond that a grandfather and granddaughter could ever have. One that can never be broken. I miss you soooooo much.
   As the days go by, at some point, I know it'll get a little easier, but deep down... it will always hurt me knowing that your not here, in person, anymore. And I'll have to live with that until the day I'm called home, where we will meet again. Fly high, Pop-Pop !! You've more than earned your wings, soldier !! I love you so very much. More than words could ever express !! Watch over us, Pop. Rest In Paradise !! <3

Walter you became a part of my big family many years ago. I thank Mike and Michelle for making that happen. The last time I saw you just a month or so ago you just got out of the hospital and had a big smile on your face. It was priceless.
 Last Christmas was hard for me but having you here carving the turkey and ham was great. Thank you for all the memories you gave me and my family. I will do my best to be there for your kids & grand kids. You already know they are a strong family thanks to you.  I love you and will miss you. R.I.P
