
Alphonse C.Giordano, son of Gennaro and Antoinette, was born in the Bronx on April 23,1952. He would become a plumber and plumbing foreman, helping to build some of the most famous landmarks in NYC, in a career that would span nearly 4 decades. A loving husband, to wife Carol, and caring father, to children Jerry and Deanna. He was a deeply devoted man who put his heart and soul into his work and his family. His strong will and determination allowed him to beat the odds and fight off a relentless cancer for 6 long years. On October 16th ,surrounded by loved ones, Al finally passed. His strong work ethic and appreciation for life, along with his devotion to family and friends,will leave behind an imprint on anyone who knew him. A brief interment service will be held to honor him October 20,2014 at 2;00pm at Ferncliff Cemetery in Hartsdale, NY in the Rosewood Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the New York City/Southern New York Chapter of the National MS Society, or to the American Cancer Society.
