My dear sister Dee was born 6 years earlier than me and I have so many precious memories of the times we shared.  As far back as being a toddler, I remember her loving spirit, always making the best of any situation and being a loving big sister.  When she entered a room, it lit up with her bright, bubble personality. She will be forever missed, and life is not the same without her.  All my love Gin Gin

Dear Dee: Another month gone by missing you like crazy.  I still want to reach for the phone and hear your voice and have you help solve all my problems, as if you didn't have enough of your own.  You had Mom's quality when it came to that, no matter how bad things were, she and you always found a way of making me feel things will get better and there is a solution to everything. God blessed you with so many GOOD qualities and they are missed so very much. I am not sure you can hear me but I have been calling on you like crazy. So many things have changed in one month's time.  Poor Benji passed away and Andrew and Mary feel his loss terribly. Ro is not feeling much better and I made the decision to try to sell my home. Losing you period, has been heart break beyond repair. But losing you before the holiday you cherished most has been even more of a struggle for me to cope with! It is getting harder for me to  find the spirit and joy of it all mom. I know if you were here you would tell me, I have to be here for your Lenie, and no matter what as long as she is happy, and has a smile on her face that's all that matters. You always said "wait until you get older" about everything ma, especially when it came to having my own kids and family! Well ma, as I'm sure you already know EVERY SINGLE THING you tried to make me understand about everyday life, children and having a family has happen, and continues to happen. Happy Birthday in Heaven twin angels, Dee and Tony.  Sadly, for us this is the first birthday since your passing Tony in December of 1992 that we are without both of you. We were so blessed to have Dee with us for 22 more birthday's after loosing you. Dear Dee:  Well, tonight was the first of three graduation events for your loving grandson Anthony.  He had his school dance this evening with his Mom and he looked so very handsome and grown up. From the photographs, it looked like he had a really great time.     Friday evening is the actual graduation Mass and Commencement and Saturday the family will have a small get together to celebrate his achievement.  I know you will be here with us in spirit every step of the way but your presence will be missed more than you know. I am sure Anthony knows in his heart how much you love him and how proud you are today and always.  Sister, you are loved and missed more than you could imagine. XOXOXO Hey Mom, Well not gonna lie ma', it has been a tough six months coping with the loss of you! The saying "one doesn't really know what one has until it's gone" has played over and over in my heart since you have taken your place with God. I love and miss you and need you so much more and more every single day! There hasn't been a day I wish we could have one of our 2/3 hour talks, but this time everyday we weren't able to see one another! I regret everyday how much time we lost mom, and how I wasn't there enough with you, for you, for Donna lil Ant and Aunt Gin Gin. Raising a beautiful daughter and family of my own in a different state 1300 miles away obviously came with A crappy consequence it seems. Although it was all with your blessing. Because you always wanted for nothing but your boy's happiness and stability it all seems so unfair to you. I always knew and saw how much you sacrificed for Donna and me, and to not be able to see you at your happiest in the final, and undetermined years of your life  has ripped a tear in my heart that will never heal! I just hope as you look down on us we make you smile, and know we will be OK.Just as you would have wanted Ma' Well I did come to just share a story with you and not get emotional but Ha to that attempt! Ok so your Lee Lee goes to school the other day and a boy that sits at her desk is writing a story. He has four characters in the story. So of course as do all the lil boys in Leanie's class, he has a crush on her. So he names one of these characters Grandma Lena she tells me and how it upset her cause she didn't like to be called "grandma" before Lena. So as she is telling me this story she notices my eyes start to tear up. Lenie couldn't understand why at first. But when I explained that she had a visit from her great grandma Lena she looked a little confused at first, then pulled my chin up hugged me, kissed me on the forehead looked me in the eyes and said "no daddy now she visited you too" Ma' ya wanna talk about one of those moments you always told me would happen between son and daughter. My heart never felt anything like it mom. So I guess the other moral to the story is thanks for your visit to me the other day too! That lesson was something you always told me and assured me would happen between Lenie and me a few times in my lifetime and that I should always cherish those moments! You were always so connected that way. I love you mom R.I.P

My Precious Sister Dee:  Today marks six months in Heaven for you and each and everyday I live with a broken heart.  I miss having you in my life and sharing all the ups and downs with you my sister, my best friend.  You always made ANY situation better just be being you.  Your calm smile, kind words, honest opinion and kind heart just made living life easier. I see you in every beautiful thing, birds singing, flowers blooming, sunrise coming up in the morning, amazing sunsets in the early evening  and of course the bright stars in the sky at night. I have to believe I am surrounded by you in order to survive.  God Bless you my sister and I look forward to the day when we will all be together again. Hi Ma' xoxoxox As always this was another difficult holiday with out you! I hope you had a wonderful Easter in Heaven Ma' Hearing your voice on the holiday's though we weren't together for most in the past few years. The thing that made it the holiday for me, was always hearing your voice whether it be at the beginning of that day or the end, it would make it that much more special! Although I felt your presence in my heart as I always do, not hearing your voice was and will always be the most difficult thing for your boy!
