She is survived by her beloved husband Edward Melstrand and her children Lorolyn Hoppe (James), Craig (Emily), Brian, Jason, and Amy Welden (Paul).
Kathy is further survived by thirteen grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses at Aurora Medical Center Grafton for their kindness and care.
