Larry W. Knuth

Larry W. Knuth, Wauwatosa, WI, age 87, passed away with his family by his side on July 27, 2012.

At his request, no service will be held.

The interment will be held at Wisconsin Memorial Park for family members.

Larry was born October 17, 1924 to Larry and Agnes (Schuetz) Knuth.

He was preceded in death by his loving sister, Shirley.

He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Dorothy (Mileski) Knuth;

his brother, Ron Hjerstedt and his wife, Chris of Mercer, WI;

his daughters and sons-in-law, Lauralynn (Southworth) and her husband Steve, of Palmyra, WI; Patty (Elsner) and husband Tom, of Boynton Beach, FL; Connie DeCristoforo, of Wauwatosa, WI; Penny Knuth, of Illinois.

He will also be dearly missed by his grandchildren, Joy and Jackie DeCristoforo, and Nick and Tracy Schuster; and nephews Michael (Amy) and Stephen Hjerstedt.

Larry served in the United States Marine Corp during WWII, and was a member of the Marine Corp League, as well as an active member of the American Legion Post #449.

He was a life enthusiast, and enjoyed it to the fullest, even during the final years when he was fighting renal and heart disease.

The family would like to thank all those that took care of Larry, at the Zablocki VA Hospital over the years; we appreciated all of you so much. Also, we would like to thank friends that visited Larry at the hospital.
