Renee was born on July 6, 1955, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, to Lois Mae (Weitermann) and Ned James LaViolette Sr. She attended Pulaski High School and was married on December 19, 1975. Renee was blessed to become the proud and devoted mother of three daughters: Joni, Jennifer, and Terri Niber.
Renee was known for her strong work ethic and dedication. She worked at various George Webb restaurants across the Milwaukee area and was always on time for her shifts—often taking multiple buses in inclement weather to get there. Her commitment and reliability were unmatched.
A loving and generous woman, Renee found her greatest joy in spending time with her daughters, grandchildren, and extended family. Even in times when resources were limited, she gave freely and wholeheartedly to those she loved. Renee had a gift for making people feel special, often expressing her love through handmade crafts and thoughtful gifts.
In her free time, she enjoyed playing Bingo, watching Hallmark movies (with Nashville being a recent favorite), and connecting with family—frequently calling her loved ones just to check in, often beginning the conversation with her signature “What’cha doing?”
Renee was preceded in death by her parents, Lois and Ned LaViolette; her sister, Carol Steinbach; and her brother, Vernon LaViolette.
She is survived by her children: Jennifer Niber, Terri Niber, and Joni (Micah) Fleury; her sister Patricia (Craig) Brengle of Randolph, Wisconsin; her brothers Dennis (Wendy) LaViolette of Pembine, Wisconsin, and Ned James “Jim” (Eidy) LaViolette Sr. of Oklahoma City. She also leaves behind six grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, and other family members who loved her dearly.
Renee’s love, laughter, and unwavering dedication to her family will be remembered and cherished always.
