Of Takoma Park, MD, Scott passed suddenly on June 4. This kind, generous man leaves behind his loving wife Jane Moore, his most-cherished dog Lily, and an assortment of turtles and tortoises.
Scott was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on November 22, 1956 to Sue and Tom Wibbert (Milwaukee, WI). He also leaves behind his beautiful sister Janet (Pat McMahon), loving brothers Paul (Anita) and Casey (Milwaukee, WI), Sister and brother-in-law Martie and Jerry Blomberg (Waupaca, WI) and Meri and Jim Beyer (Racine, WI), nieces Shannon Wibbert, Beth (Tom Hervey), and Jennifer Blomberg; nephews Andy (Lindsay Beyer), Jonathan Blomberg, and Patrick McMahon, Jr., as well as his beautiful great-nieces, Fiona, Keira, Addison, and Quinn; and a whole slew of cousins and devoted friends. He loved each and every one of you. Jane hopes you can feel his grace and love watching over you.
Scott was not only generous with his time to his family and friends he was an expert in the art of bonsai, spending hours on one tree to make it a thing of beauty. He also had a mad love of music and taught himself to play guitar. His face lit up when Jane could name the new song he learned, Sweet Jane was one of the first he mastered.
Jane sends a special note of love to Pat Harvey. Scott loved you and thought of you as a great friend.
Scott’s unique spirit will be missed by his neighbors in the close-knit Kilmarock Community and by his University of Maryland-University College colleagues where he worked for 25 years.
Jane would like to give thanks and gratitude to her employer, NDi (Network Designs, Inc.) for all their support and love.
Both Jane and Scott are forever indebted to their ‘second family’, the Goldman-Weissmans of Takoma Park. They both love Barr, Linda, Abby, Sylvie, Grace and Skidoo with the passion one has for blood-related loved-ones. (Yes, even the dog.) Girls, Jane hopes you feel his grace and love watching over you, as his is doing with his much loved nieces and nephews.
