Stanley Gorczany

Stanley Gorczany of Glendale, WI. Entered into Eternal Life on Wednesday, March 23, 2011 at age 89. Beloved husband of the late Eleanor. Loving father of Chris (Tom) Runte and cherished grandfather of Ann (Robert) Roob, John (Michelle) Runte and Michael (Amy) Runte. Proud great-grandfather of Brooklyn, Tyler, Ryan, Kayla, Parker, Gage and Cole. Further survived by his brother John (Barbara), and other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by his parents John and Katherine; sisters Frances (the late Ed) Pytlik, Joanne (the late Harold) Dickman and Alice (the late Bill) Mailer, and brothers Joseph (the late Mildred), Casey and Ed (the late Carol).

Stan was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He always enjoyed spending time with us at his lake home with his beloved wife of 65 years, Eleanor. He was most proud of his family and his service as a Navy Veteran in WWII. He also was fortunate enought to enjoy 32 years of retirement, spending time at his lake home, fishing, golfing and hunting. He passed on his love for those pursuits to his family who are forever grateful. He and Eleanor always warmly welcomed relatives and friends to "The Lake" where you could count on a bountiful buffet, good times and laughter...memories that will always linger.

Mass of Christian Burial Monday, March 28 at St. Mary's Catholic Faith Community (9520 W. Forest Home Ave., Hales Corners), at 11 AM with visitation from 10 AM until time of Mass. Private entombment at Wisconsin Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers donations to the Arthritis Foundation Wisconsin Chapter appreciated or a charity of your choice.
