Abraham “Abe” S. Lookner of Needham, formerly of Hyde Park, on Sunday, February 1, 2015. For 59 years, the beloved husband of the late Mildred Lookner (Cummins). Dear son of the late Clara and Louis Lookner. Loving father of Lawrence Lookner, Paula Lookner Markman & her husband Steve, and Taryn Lookner. Adored grandfather of Glenn and Beth Markman. Cherished brother of Bella Lookner, the late Bertha Rosenfield, Abe’s treasured mother after being orphaned at a young age, & her late husband Harry, the late Morris Lookner & his late wives Jenny and Beulah, the late Anne Feldman, the late Fanny & Jacob Richmond, the late Emma & Reuben Eskot, the late Julius & Beatrice Lookner, the late Lillian, Marcia and Edith Lookner, and the late William Lookner & his surviving wife Cecilia. Fond uncle to his many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Services at Levine Chapels, 470 Harvard St., Brookline on Wednesday February 4, 2015 at 2:30pm. Burial at Shara Tfilo Cemetery, 776 Baker St., West Roxbury. Following the burial, memorial observance will be at the kosher home of Paula & Steve Markman until 9:00pm and on Thursday 2-5:00pm and 7-9:00pm and Friday 2-4:00pm. In lieu of flowers remembrances may be made to Community Servings, www.servings.org or a charity of one’s choice.
