Alan Gadarian of Sudbury, Massachusetts passed away unexpectedly on January 5, 2024 at the age of 74. Alan was born on September 23, 1949 in New Haven, Connecticut, where he lived with his parents Carl and Lillian Gadarian, and his brother Steven.
At the age of 19, Alan enlisted in the U.S. Army in June 1968 and served for three years in active duty. He was honorably discharged in 1971 as a decorated veteran of the Vietnam War, and highly valued his service record. For over 30 years, and to the day of his passing, Alan and his wife, Rosie, owned and operated Plainville Liquors in Plainville, MA.
Alan is survived by his beloved wife Raziela “Rosie” Gadarian, and his three adult children, David Gadarian, Karen Gadarian Olin, and Emily Gadarian Gebhardt. Alan is also survived by seven grandchildren: Adam, Rebekah, Golda, Lillian, Daniel, Dahlia and Owen.
Family and friends are invited to attend a graveside funeral service and burial at Framingham-Natick Jewish Cemetery on Monday, January 8 at 3:00 pm. Shiva will be held daily at the family home from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm through Friday, January 12, 2024.
