Albert Martin Berman, age 85, of Palm Beach Gardens, FL, formerly of Needham, on September 15, 2012. For 55 years, beloved husband of Shirley (Smith). Loving father of Betsy Atin & her husband Michael Birley, and Neal Berman & his late wife Robin. Cherished grandfather of Jared Atin, Stephanie Atin, Lindsey Berman & Erica Berman. Dear brother of Robert Berman & his wife Pat, and the late Edward Berman & his surviving wife Joan. Fond uncle to his nieces and nephews. Graduate of Syracuse University and a proud veteran of the United States Army. He will be dearly missed. Graveside services at Hebrew Volin Cemetery, 776 Baker St., West Roxbury, on Wednesday, September 19, 2012 at 11:00 am. Following the service, memorial observance will be at the home of Joan Berman until 4:00 pm and continuing 7:00–9:00 pm and Thursday, 1:00-4:00pm and 7:00-9:00 pm.
